Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Instruction
We believe that Tai Chi Chuan is extremely effective for health and the mind, and its practice leads to physical and spiritual development. Our aim is to continue the traditional approach to the history of Tai Chi, which was developed by the Yang family in the 19th century. It is generally observed that the practice of tai chi chuan can offer something to everyone, regardless of gender, age, preparation, or fitness level, so we welcome anyone to our courses.
Why choose the White Monkey Yang style Tai Chi Chuan school?
Tai Chi Chuan, the art of harmony
At our White Monkey Yang Tai Chi school, we teach Tai Chi Chuan following the original, traditional approach developed by the Yang family in the 19th century.
The Yang family played a decisive role in the development and formation of Tai Chi Chuan, and their traditional slow and fast form practices, initially taught mainly by GU LI-SHENG and Yang Shao-Hou.

They primarily help with opening and strengthening the body, as well as working with energy.
Practising the sequences properly prepares the body for Tai Chi form practice, including the long form, and can also be used independently as an extremely effective practice.
It is recommended for everyone, both for its role in general health maintenance and for deepening and understanding our Tai Chi Chuan practices.

The Story of the "Fehér Majom"
Choosing a Name
When I made the decision to open a Tai Chi school, the greatest challenge was coming up with a catchy, memorable name.
During an evening conversation, a charming story about a Chinese tea was mentioned, and I knew the universe was sending me a sign.
The story went like this:
According to legend, the monks used specially trained monkeys to gather the rare white tea leaves, as the paths leading to the tea trees were very dangerous. Another legend says the White Monkey tea got its name from the soft fur of the monkeys or the shape of their paws, but it may simply be due to the general popularity of monkeys. Nevertheless, the tea has excellent properties and is extremely popular, becoming one of the most renowned teas in the world.
I am determined to represent Tai Chi instruction with similar diligence and quality.
